PORT OF ADRIA CONTINUES WITH ITS TRADITION: SCHOOL ACCESSORIES GIFT PACKAGES FOR FIRST-GRADE PUPILS

In accordance with its mission of socially responsible company, Port of Adria provided this year as well 575 gift packages with whole school accessories for all first-grade pupils in the Municipality of Bar.

The Municipality of Bar also continued with its good practice of awarding free books. On this occasion, gifts were presented to school headmasters by Dušan Raičević, Municipality President and Sedat Kara, Port of Adria CEO at the ceremony in the Municipality

In 2015, Port of Adria made a valuable donation to the Economic and Catering High School in Bar with the aim of improving the work of School’s Entrepreneurial Center. From 2017, monthly scholarships are paid to the best students – Port of Adria employees’ children.

Provision of school accessories to first-grade pupils in Bar is one of the activities with which the Company, together with its majority owner Global Ports Holding, supports the local community.
