FIRST TIME IN PORT HISTORY UNLOADING OF TWO CONTAINER SHIPS WITH TWO CONTAINER CRANES

Port of Adria’s multiple investments in the company are delivering the desired results. On Monday 09.10.2017, on Pier 1, two container ships M/V Max Ventura and M/V E.R. Wellington were berthed and serviced at same time.

With acquisition of new Liebherr STSG crane (model P137), together with the existing crane and all other supporting investments such as horizontal equipment, new terminal operating software, human resources development, Port of Adria is able to simultaneously and successfully unload containers from both ships.

Ships were serviced at the same time, each ship by one container crane, with continuous support of Gottwald HMK 260 E - universal mobile crane, providing quality, productive and efficient service to our partners.
