REEFER STATION

Port of Adria continues on investing in infrastructure and superstructure of the port area. Having realized the project of Reefer Station construction, Port of Adria confirms its well-defined long-term development strategy once again, this time with the investment value of over 400.000€.

Reefer Station, with the capacity of 270 reefer containers (with the possibility to increase to 360), is equipped with a new substation and diesel generator and provides maximum power supply reliability, quality service for storing reefer containers and conserving goods in them. It is constructed of nine steel "bridge" structures on three levels, each equipped with 30 sockets for powering reefer containers.

As a result of new investments and business strategies under the leadership of Global Ports Holding, Port of Adria has raised the level of productivity in business and communications with the objective to comply with the international standards and create the image of reliable company in regard to all clients operating in port sector.
